Guitar Notes: Stave to Fret does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you to provide your name, phone number, email address, ID number, bank account, health information, precise location, contacts, photos, or other sensitive personal information.

  1. Microphone audio for the tuner. When you use the tuner, the app accesses microphone input to analyze pitch and display tuning information. Audio is processed on your device in real time. We do not record, store, or upload your microphone audio.
  2. Practice and learning data. The app may store your selected key, practice progress, score, streak, note choices, and app preferences locally on your device so that the app can provide the stave-to-fretboard mapping and practice features.
  3. Device, advertising, and diagnostic information handled by third-party SDKs. The app uses Google AdMob to provide advertising. Google AdMob may collect device information, advertising identifiers, approximate network information, app interaction information, crash or performance data, and similar data as described in Google's policies.
  4. Basic app operation data. The app may use network access to load ads and related service content, and may use wake lock behavior to keep metronome playback stable while the app is in use.

2. How We Use Information

  1. To provide core features, including staff notation display, fretboard mapping, note practice, key selection, tuner, and metronome functions;
  2. To save local app settings and practice state on your device;
  3. To analyze microphone input locally when you use the tuner;
  4. To show ads and measure advertising performance through Google AdMob;

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your locally stored practice data with third parties.

  1. Practice progress, selected key, and app preferences are stored locally on your device.

  4. If you contact us by email, we may retain your message for support and record-keeping purposes unless you request deletion where applicable.
